is range of culture volume possible in the SYSTEM500/1000? |
SYSTEM500/1000 can accommodate
a CELLBAG1000L which has a maximum liquid volume of 500 liters. Alternatively,
you can put two CELLBAG500L side-by-side giving you two cultures
of up to 250 liters each. |
| What
utilities do I need for the SYSTEM500/1000? |
You will need 208/240
VAC (3 phase). Also CO2 and O2 depending on your applications.
Gas consumption rate is very low, and a standard cylinder will last
over a month, alternatively, you may use our O2GEN. |
| I am
not sure that the SYSTEM500/1000 will work for my application? |
We have
several of SYSTEM500/1000s in place. The first
units were delivered in late 2002. The technology
is well-proven, however we recommend you gain
some experience with a smaller SYSTEM20/50 or
SYSTEM200 first, then scale-up is usually trivial.
